Let us introduce our very own Wanaka artisan; Tineke-Maree Sutton, the owner and operator of Taste of the Alps handmade preserves.The picking, gathering, foraging and growing of the produce for the natural preserves falls solely in Tineke's capable hands. Taste of the Alps is inspired by the alpine climate and abundant seasonal offerings that the Central Otago fruits basket has to offer. Tineke emphasizes that her preserves are not just to be enjoyed on a cheese platter, but to get creative and add them to jus, glaze on BBQ meat, dollop on the pavlova and fold through plain yoghurt for a dressing.Our personal favourite is the Pinot Noir Quince Jelly...trust us, it tastes as good as it sounds!
